About Binary Converter Pro

Binary Converter Pro is a free set of converters and plain-English guides for working with binary, built so that the answer to a conversion is correct, explained and private.

What we do

We build tools that convert between text, binary, decimal and hexadecimal, plus calculators for binary arithmetic and two’s complement. Every result comes with the working shown, so you can learn the method as well as get the answer.

Who runs the site

The site is created and maintained by Matt Dean. You can reach him at info@binaryconverterpro.com.

Our principles

  • Accuracy first. Converters are tested against independently generated reference results. See how we test.
  • Privacy by design. Everything you type is processed in your browser and never sent to us.
  • Clarity. Short answers first, then detail, examples and the maths.
  • Free to use. No signup and no paywall. The site may show ads to cover its costs.

Feedback and corrections

Found an error or have a suggestion for a new tool? Email info@binaryconverterpro.com or visit the contact page. We review every message and fix confirmed mistakes promptly.

What you will find here

  • Converters for text, decimal, hexadecimal and binary, each with its own page and worked examples.
  • Calculators for binary arithmetic and signed numbers.
  • Reference tables including the full ASCII table and the binary alphabet.
  • Guides that teach the methods by hand, with practice problems.

Who it is for

Students learning computer science, programmers who need a quick conversion, teachers preparing examples, and anyone curious about how a computer writes their name. Explanations start with the short answer and then go deeper, so you can stop reading when you have what you need.

How the site is funded

The tools are free. To cover hosting and development the site may show advertising in the future. Ads will never change the results of a converter, and our Privacy Policy explains how data is handled.
